Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 250 gms cottage cheese (paneer)


  • 1 litre milk


  • 200 gms milk powder


  • 250 gms fresh malai


  • 250 gms mawa (khoya)


  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder


  • 1/2 tbsp clarified butter


  • 1 tbsp crushed pistachios


  • 1 tbsp chopped cashewnut


  • 1 tbsp chopped almonds


  • 1 pinch saffron


  • 200 gms sugar or according to your taste

Directions

  • heat milk in a heavy bottom pan and bring it to boil.
  • when milk start to boiling reduce the flam and let it boil for 10 to 15 minutes on slow flam.
  • After 15 minutes milk start to thicken.
  • now add cardamom powder, sugar and mix well.
  • Now add grated paneer, malai,mawa and mix well.
  • Add 1 cup of cold milk in milk powder and mix well. Now add this mixture in to milk and mix well.
  • now cook on medium flam with continue stirring till halwa consistency.
  • Now add clarified butter and mix well.
  • Now add chopped cashewnut, almonds, pistachios. Saffron and mix well.
  • Switch off the flam and add gaRosh with chopped nuts.
